look number:

It is said that in ancient times, a monk built a temple here and got the name. It is the place with the most bends and steepest slopes on Bashi Railway. The bends are continuous "S" shaped with a gradient of 36.14 ‰. The steep slope restricts the passenger carrying capacity of the small train. The small train can pull up to 4 sightseeing carriages, carrying 150 passengers. This is also the place where the small train has the greatest power to climb the slope. The roaring sound resounds through the valley, which is magnificent. The scenery is endless as the train moves. Climb up the Monk Bay, and the small train enters the steep section of Xianren Canyon.
